Year 6 2019 - 2020

Miss Young

Miss Young and Mrs Rustom

Hello Team 6,

please browse the following information regarding home learning tasks for the week beginning 30th March.  To keep your brain active, as guidance, I recommend that you Read, practice Spellings, complete 1 English, 1 Maths, 1 Other task daily, recording any necessary learning in your yellow books.

Don’t put too much pressure on yourself or family to get everything done, any questions that you’re stuck on can be highlighted and explained at a later date by Miss Young or Mrs Rustom.

If you find yourself wanting to complete some extra activities, browse the additional sites listed below and noted on the ‘online educational sites’ document found in files.  Or glance over the ‘optional projects’ document, again found in files to give yourself something to work on over a prolonged period of time.

Spelling:

ate, ite and it rule. Found on spelling page, listed week 25- 27th March.

I encourage you to complete a weekly test noting down your score and any corrections required.

You will also find a Literacy Company file available to use at your own discretion, do browse it's tasks as a possible gateway to learn our class spellings.

English Tasks:

Please choose a daily writing activity from the document found in the files list below.

• Read the task carefully and make sure you think about the skills you will need to use to write successfully.

• When you have finished your task, read over your work and make sure you are happy with it. Then read your work aloud to your family.
