Oldfield Primary School fully endorses the principle that the school uniform should be affordable for everyone. Accordingly, the majority of the uniform can be bought from local high street stores or supermarkets. An annual appraisal of uniform costs takes place in order to ensure that it continues to be affordable to everyone.
The school uniform helps us to promote a sense of ownership and unity within the school. All the children at Oldfield are asked to wear the following:
- Grey or black trousers/skirt
- White polo shirt
- Royal blue sweatshirt/cardigan
- Blue and white check dresses for girls during the summer months
- Shoes – black
- White shorts
- Royal blue ‘T’ shirt
- Trainers or pumps
- White socks
- In cold weather tracksuits and sweatshirts can be worn
Children who attend swimming are required to bring a swimming costume and towel. Goggles can be worn, only with written permission from parents.
Jewellery is potentially hazardous in school, so please make sure your child leaves it at home. No jewellery can be worn for PE.
We are now using a web-based supplier of school uniform - their website can be accessed by clicking here.
