Welcome to our Y6 page!

Our curriculum

This half term has a history focus as we learn all about World War 2. We will use reading texts, historical sources and dance and drama to imagine what life was like during the war years. 

PE will take place on Monday afternoons learning some dances from the war era with Mrs Oldman. We also have PE on Tuesday afteroons doing tag rugby with Pat & Andy. Children should come to school wearing their PE kit on these days. 

Homework will be set on a Friday. It should be returned by the following Thursday. It will be set on our Google classroom page. You will have the option each week to complete your homework online or in your homework book. 

The best way that you can practise your learning at home is by reading daily as much as possible. We have a fantastic selection of books in school. How many can you read this year?
