Governors
As part of The Peoples Learning Trust, our school is supported by a Local Governing Body (LGB) that plays a vital role in ensuring the very best for our children.
Our governors are volunteers from a range of backgrounds who bring valuable skills, experience and perspectives. Working in partnership with the Headteacher and staff, they help shape the school’s direction and monitor key areas such as curriculum, safeguarding, finance and staffing. They also review the impact of actions taken and support the school in continually improving outcomes for pupils.
.
Our Local Governing Body includes:
· Trust‑appointed governors
· Parent governors, elected by parents and carers
· Staff governors, elected by school staff
· Community governors, invited for their skills and local knowledge
Many of our governors are also parents of children currently at the school, giving us a strong and representative voice from across the year groups.
