Year 5/6 High 5 netball competition

What a fantastic afternoon of Netball it was! 

On Thursday, Miss Jones took 8 children to Blacon High School to take part in a High 5 Netball competition. The children played a new position for each game and really developed their netball skills. For some of the children this was the first  time they had played Netball! The team won 3 games, drew 1 and lost 1. This gave them an overall 2nd place; narrowly missing out on a semi-final place. 

Well done to Matthew Y, Ruben, Cameron, Macie, Ruby, Lily, Olivia and Masie. 

Many thanks to Ruben’s Dad and Ruby’s Dad for assisting with transport and thank you to Macie’s Mum  and Maisie’s Mum for coming along to support the children.
