Y3’s Stone Age trip

Class: Year 3 Year: 2025 - 2026

Year 3 had a great time learning about the Stone Age and Iron Age today! We sat in the very dark roundhouse, looking at the paintings and learning how it was built including what they used to make the walls!!! We looked at artefacts and made clay, coiled pots which are currently drying in the classroom. We took part in an archaeological dig and used a bow and arrow to hunt a woolly mammoth 🦣 with a bow and arrow. Year 3 are definitely Stone Age experts now!
