Year 3’s Stone Age visit to Burwardsley

Class: Year 3 Year: 2026 - 2027

Year 3 had the most amazing day learning about life in the Stone Age and Iron Age! John who ran our workshops for the day was so impressed with the children's enthusiasm, curiosity and brilliant questions and answers! The children studied artefacts from the Stone Age and Iron Age; used bow and arrows to hunt woolly mammoths; explored the Iron Age roundhouse; created coiled clay pots (which will come home soon) and became archaeologists looking for treasures!
