Yr1: Intrepid Explorers! A history drama workshop.

Class: Year 1 Year: 2025 - 2026

Year 1 enjoyed a dramatic experience of history with Freshwater Theatre company. Through dramatic play, they time traveled back to 1492 to Christopher Columbus exploring the unknown, on the Santa Maria. Can you see us become his ship and load it with supplies? They were about to give up when "Land Ahoy!" And they landed on Barbados.

We then traveled forwards to 1969, becoming space rockets. Neil Armstrong had less than 30 seconds on fuel when they touched down on the moon. Neil stepped off first and said those now famous words

" That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
